My silhouettes on gold are inspired by the Victorian Era silhouette art and the Catholic & Orthodox Icons
I create them on rich golden backgrounds that shimmer magically in the light.
The images are then painted directly onto the gold or they are made using cut outs from my original paintings with handcut golden paper-lace details
