It may look as if the earth and her creatures have gone to sleep for winter, but during my travels through these autumnal landscapes I met many uncanny characters and they told me lots about their lives and the places they came from. I asked them where they were going, but they kept this a secret, they told me no-one was to know as it would spoil the magic of not knowing. Perhaps they don’t know it themselves…
